CHRISTOPHER STOLPE  Business Development Manager, L&D

Motivera was founded with a clear focus on occupational health, safety, and technical training for industrial environments. For many years, our work has been closely tied to production sites, such as warehouses, factories, construction projects, and logistics operations, across Sweden. We train both operators and managers, from forklift and overhead crane drivers to HSEQ specialists and HR teams, always with one goal in mind: turning safety knowledge into safe behavior.

Our training philosophy is built on realism, relevance, and measurable impact. We design scenario-based programs that allow learners to practice decision-making in risk-free environments, supported by experienced instructors and subject-matter experts.

The Challenge: Scaling Without Compromising Safety Outcomes

For years, Motivera’s training model relied heavily on face-to-face instruction. While effective, it was resource-intensive and difficult to scale. In 2024, 90% of training was delivered offline, with only 10% provided online. Digital learning was often met with skepticism, especially in safety-critical environments where hands-on practice is essential.

Key challenges included:

  • Time-consuming and inefficient training sessions
  • Low knowledge retention and irregular repetition
  • No risk-free environment for practicing critical scenarios
  • Limited geographic reach across Sweden
  • Manual administration and lack of structured follow-ups
  • Weak reporting and limited visibility into training impact

The company needed a way to introduce digital learning without sacrificing realism, engagement, or measurable safety outcomes.

The Solution: iSpring Suite and iSpring LMS

Choosing an eLearning platform was not something Motivera rushed into. The team wanted a solution that could handle realistic simulations, provide reliable reporting, and make it easy to connect digital learning with live training sessions. As a result, Motivera chose iSpring Suite and iSpring LMS to build a blended learning ecosystem that supports both online preparation and instructor-led training.

“I have tried more than 10 different tools and LMS:s over the past 20 years in the L&D Industry. iSpring fitted the bill for Motivera Sverige very well.”

Turning instructor expertise into effective digital training with iSpring Suite

Using iSpring Suite, the team transformed existing instructor materials into interactive, scenario-based courses with:

  • Dialogue simulations
  • Video-based scenarios
  • Quizzes and examinations
  • Voiceovers and localized subtitles
  • Rapid updates and relaunches

Instead of static slides or outsourced content, Motivera’s three-person eLearning production team now builds courses in-house. This approach allows learners to practice decision-making in a safe environment before applying skills on-site.

It also enables faster updates when regulations change: courses can be refreshed and relaunched without rebuilding content from scratch.

Delivering, tracking, and scaling through Motivera Academy inside iSpring LMS

While iSpring Suite powers content creation, iSpring LMS powers delivery and performance tracking through the Motivera Academy portal.

The LMS gives Motivera centralized control over:

  • Certification tracking for safety-critical roles
  • Automated notifications and follow-ups
  • Scheduled reporting for internal and external stakeholders
  • 24/7 access to training across Sweden

Reporting has become one of Motivera’s strongest advantages. Instead of manual follow-ups or scattered spreadsheets, Motivera now provides structured insights into learner progress, completion rates, and certification status. These insights are highly valued by HSEQ managers and HR teams.

“We regularly use the LMS to manage employee certifications and track individuals’ skills and developed competencies. We also deliver performance management data and training results through API integrations to our customers’ LMS, LXP, and HR systems.”

Results: Measurable Growth and Stronger Market Position

When Motivera began its digital shift in 2024, online learning accounted for just 10% of total training delivery. Like many organizations in safety-critical industries, there was hesitation around digital formats. Hands-on environments were seen as irreplaceable. Eighteen months later, that perception has changed.

Online learning now represents 30% of Motivera’s training delivery, a significant structural shift that has simplified trainers’ workloads, improved the preparation of instructor-led sessions, and made programs easier to scale across Sweden.

In just 1.5 years, the team developed:

  • 45+ full courses
  • 157 training activity modules
  • A structured blended model combining digital preparation with practical application

The impact goes beyond internal efficiency.

Client satisfaction ratings consistently reach 4.9 out of 5, and Motivera reports larger deal sizes and a growing customer base. Since October 2024, the company has achieved 8–10% revenue growth, supported in part by its expanded and differentiated digital offering.

The interactive, scenario-based courses have also strengthened Motivera’s position in a competitive market.

“No one else in our industry offers courses like this.”

Motivera continues to rank among the top players in its sector, driven by solid training outcomes and a learning experience that supports real behavioral change. Today, the company is in an active growth phase, with a clear goal to reach 300 active users in 2026–2027 and further expand its blended learning model.
