Dr. Abbie Maroño

Behavioral Scientist and Keynote Speaker

Dr. Abbie Maroño is a behavioral scientist and keynote speaker, specializing in trust, influence, and nonverbal communication. Earning her PhD in Psychology, she became a Professor at 23 and was later recognized by the U.S. Department of State for extraordinary ability in behavioral science. By age 27, Dr. Abbie had trained personnel from 29 federal agencies, including the FBI and U.S. Secret Service, as well as INTERPOL, making her one of the youngest known experts to have delivered behavioral science training at this level. Her proprietary behavioral science training, The Upper Hand, focuses on influence, persuasion, trust, and nonverbal communication. She has been named one of Central Florida’s 40 Under 40, one of The American Heart Association's leaders of impact, and is a TEDx speaker. She is also a trusted media expert featured on BBC News, Fox News, WIRED, Reuters, Forbes, Court TV, and many more.
