Can I give certificates for completed courses?
Yes, you can set iSpring Learn to automatically issue a certificate at the completion of a course. You can either choose the default certificate template provided by iSpring Learn or create your own certificate.

Does iSpring Learn support SCORM?
Yes, iSpring Learn fully supports SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 (all editions) packages.

What types of content does iSpring Learn support?
Here is a list of supported files: PowerPoint presentations, quizzes, interactions, dialog simulations, video projects and flip books uploaded directly from iSpring Suite. The supported formats are SCORM 1.2/2004 packages, FLV videos, MP4 videos, MP3 audio, SWF, and reference documents (PDF, DOC, XLS, PPT).
You can also attach other types of files to your presentations created with iSpring Suite.

How can I upload content directly to iSpring Learn from iSpring Suite?
You will need to go to Publish → select the iSpring Learn tab → sign in to your account and choose the course you want to upload your file(s) to. All files need to be part of a specific course.

How can I upload a SCORM package to my iSpring Learn account?
You will need to create a new course first. Go to Courses in your iSpring Learn account and click New course → type the course name, then click Add to upload files from your computer, including SCORM packages.

I have a quiz uploaded as a SCORM file to iSpring Learn. Can I see what answers are given for each question?
For quizzes created with the Spring Suite authoring tool, besides general information, you can see additional details, e.g., which answer a user gave for each question, the most popular answer for each question, and the number of attempts that a user made.
For quizzes created in other tools, you will see general information: passed/failed status, user’s score, and the time spent taking the quiz.

What file formats can reports be exported to?
You can export reports as CSV, XLSX, XML, and PDF files.
Customization

Can I change my account name?
You can change both your account name, URL, and even the domain name in the main settings of your iSpring Learn account. The account name and URL can be changed in one click, but if you need an extra domain name, please contact our support team: https://www.ispringsolutions.com/support/contact.

Can I change the default image to display behind the course name?
Yes, you can change both the cover image and thumbnail in the course settings, in the General tab.

Can I white label my iSpring Learn portal or put my branding instead?
Of course you can! You can create a new account name and URL so that users can see the name of your company, add your branding/logo, set the color theme with the cover image, change the language of your account, etc.
Enrollments

Is there any way to enroll users from different departments in courses automatically?
If you create a smart group and select the desired departments, users will be automatically added to the group. Then go to courses and enable automatic enrollment for this smart group, so that users who become part of it will be assigned to the courses without any additional action required on your part.

How can I update courses so that the users’ progress and enrollments are saved?
If you want to update the file created with iSpring Suite, just select the course you need to replace from the content list in the Publish window directly in iSpring Suite and click Publish.
If you want to update a SCORM package, video, pdf, Word, or Excel file, then click Edit next to the course that needs to be replaced in iSpring Learn and select Replace. Users’ progress will be saved until they launch the course again (users will be notified about an updated course by a pop-up message once they try to open the file).

I want users to take the same course every two months to refresh their knowledge. Is there any way to do that automatically?
Yes, definitely. Select the course you want users to be enrolled in, then go to the Completion settings and choose how often the course will be re-assigned to users (in how many days or weeks) once it is completed.

Can I invite non-registered users to take courses?
You can’t make courses public in your iSpring Learn account, only registered users have access to them.

Can I reset a user’s progress in a specific course in iSpring Learn?
You can reset someone’s progress by canceling their enrollment and assigning the course again.
Purchase and Discounts

How much would I have to pay if the number of active users is different from what I see in your subscription plans?
If the number of active users approaches the limit, you may need to upgrade your subscription plan. Contact us to let more users take your courses and quizzes.
Settings

I get an error when I try to sign in to my account. What am I doing wrong?
If there’s no message provided by iSpring, please double check that you entered your login information and not an email address. Login is the only identifier in iSpring Learn.

I have Spanish-speaking employees. How can I change the language of their accounts?
You can change the language for certain departments or for all users by accessing Account settings → Additional options → Languages. Users can also change the language of their profiles at any time.

Can I integrate iSpring Learn with my website?
Yes, absolutely. You can set up a single sign-on, or if you have a database, you can integrate iSpring Learn with your system via API (an application programming interface).

Do I need to have a Zoom account to be able to run online meetings in iSpring Learn?
Yes, because you will be redirected to the Zoom authorization page when enabling Zoom in your iSpring Learn account. Webinars in iSpring Learn work only with a paid Zoom subscription.
Users and Permissions

What access levels are available for different users?
There are standard roles with different access levels, such as Account Owner, Account Administrator, Department Administrator, Publisher, and Learners.
Apart from the standard roles, you can create your own and determine which permissions and limitations users will have.

I have a number of users. How can I add them to iSpring Learn in one click?
You can import users from an Excel file. Simply download the template form available in your iSpring Learn account (in the Import Users window), fill it out, and upload it back to your account.
All users in the Excel file will be automatically added to your user list.

I want my colleague to be able to manage users in my iSpring Learn account, e.g., add users, delete them, or edit their profiles, but I don’t want him to view the courses. How can I hide uploaded content?
You can give permission to only manage users in your account by creating a new role. In this way, your colleague will only be able to access the users section.

How can I allow users to self-register to my iSpring Learn portal, but prevent them from doing this multiple times?
When creating a sign-up link, select the number of times users can access the link (number of activations). Once the limit is reached, the link will be inactive.

If I delete some users from my account, will it free up space for new ones?
If they logged in to their accounts at least onсe during the current month, they will already have been billed. You can easily extend your plan anytime if needed by contacting our sales team: https://www.ispringsolutions.com/contact-sales

Can the users communicate with each other?
Users can discuss the course they are enrolled in by leaving and answering questions. They can also send private messages to administrators and course experts.

Can I see when a user last signed in to their account?
You can access the most recent login information if you export the list of users to an .xlsx file in the Users section.

I have different students every semester. Can I add and delete their accounts?
Yes, you can add and delete user accounts. This is fine as long as the current quantity of active users does not exceed the number specified in your iSpring Learn plan.

Can I add users who don’t have an email address?
Yes, absolutely. You can create logins for them instead of using email addresses, just make filling out the email field optional in the settings of your account.
