Managing course completion status

If a learner completed a course prior to your adding new material, their course status remains “Completed.” But if you need to have that learner study the newly added material, you can update the course status easily.

Track results for each quiz question with ease

Now you can get stats on correct and incorrect answers for each question. The Learner Results by Question report shows you the overall percentage of correct responses on a specific question and lets you see how each learner answers it — correctly or incorrectly.

This helps you identify the questions that many learners fail to answer correctly. You can add learners to a group and assign them additional training on a topic that is challenging for them — all directly from the report.

Identify Employees’ Knowledge Gaps with the New Quiz Report

Now you can get detailed test result data with a new report, "Learner Results by Question Group." The report shows the number of correct and incorrect answers the employee has earned on a specific group of questions. For example, in product knowledge training, you can immediately see which products employees know better and which ones they’re less familiar with.

Smart course sorting

Now, courses and learning tracks in the learner portal are sorted in a new way. Your trainees will see the courses assigned to them by their instructor or administrator first, in order of due date. After those, they’ll see the content that learners have added from the Catalog on their own. This helps your employees focus on learning tasks based on their priority and avoid getting distracted by additional content if the assigned courses have not been completed yet. This new sorting option is in effect for both desktop and mobile devices.

The “Quiz Results Overview” Report for Identifying Challenging Topics

This report will help you analyze the results of a specific quiz. It will show which questions and groups of questions employees answered well and where they most often make mistakes. Use this information to adjust your training strategies and target them to provide the greatest benefit to your business.

The "Quizzes, Surveys, Simulations" Report for Analyzing Learner Results

Now, to see how learners completed quizzes, dialogue simulations, or surveys included in a course, you don't need to search for data in different reports. A single report will show you the performance on all the tasks, as well as completion details: how many learners have started or completed the assignment and the total number of trained employees. If you want more details, you can easily proceed from this report to the results of a specific quiz or simulation.

Additional Login Password Settings

We’ve added additional password settings to help you enhance your LMS’s security. Administrators can now customize password complexity rules for learners: set the minimum password length and choose what types of characters the password should contain. This can be any combination of letters (uppercase/lowercase), numbers, and special characters. This feature is optional. Read help docs to learn how to set it up.

Employee Activity Report

We’ve added an Active Users Report that displays information such as how many users entered the LMS during the billing period and what device they used: computer or smartphone. This training report will help you see who’s actually learning, so you can get learners who haven’t logged in for a while back in the flow.

Background audio mode in the iOS app

Now you can play podcasts and audio courses in the background on your iSpring Learn app for iOS. The updated app allows you to rewind or pause a lecture even when you’ve minimized it. And if the presenter speaks too slowly, you can easily speed up the playback.

Revamped “Course” section

Now, you can combine courses, quizzes, and learning tracks into projects and give access only to those colleagues who need these materials for work. It will help you organize your learning content and distribute roles within your team much more effectively.

Here’s what you have in greater detail:
Projects for easy course storage. Courses on the same topic or designed for a specific department can be combined into projects.
Flexible course access settings. Each branch administrator can be given access to view or edit only those projects and courses that they need for their work.
Distribution of roles in a team. Different employees can have different rights for managing the content: e.g., some of them are allowed to create and edit content and others can only assign it to learners.
"Recent" and "Starred" sections for quick access to content. To find frequently used content, users can add it to the “Starred” section. Сourses and articles created in the last few days will be stored at the top of the “Recent” list.
Simplified assignment of quizzes and training modules. Any content built with iSpring Suite can be created, downloaded, and assigned separately from the course.
