Completion Details for Assignments

A freeform assignment is a task your learners complete outside of the LMS, e.g. a detailed answer to a question, a case study, or a presentation. Then, learners upload their files to iSpring Learn to be checked by an instructor.

Now, you can easily see in-depth info on your learners' freeform assignments: scores, completion dates, attempts, and instructor comments and replies.

New reports: Quiz details and dialog simulation details

With two new reports, you can get detailed stats on how specific learners progress with assessments. For any test or dialog simulation a user took, you can see: 
- scores and number of attempts 
- the time spent on the assessment 
- the completion date 
- a per-answer breakdown.

Learning tracks

A Learning Track is a series of courses that creates a linear flow of what your users have to learn. This allows you to combine multiple courses into a long-term curriculum. For example, if you need to create a 3-month training program for new hires. Instead of assigning a bunch of standalone courses that are difficult to manage or building a ridiculously long course of 60-80 modules, you now can design a smart Learning Track.

This way, you get an organized training program with clear due dates and will be able to plan training for months. Also, your learners gain a clear visualization of what they have done and still need to achieve.

Custom course cover

You can add a custom cover to any course to inspire learners in the topic or to reflect your brand. This option is available in course settings: select your course, go to General tab → Cover Image, and set a picture.

User Portal — new look and feel

Your learners can enjoy the more user-friendly appearance of the My Courses page (formerly To Do) in the User Portal. We’ve introduced a more neat and clear layout that shows not only the course name and status but also the course description, duration, number of units, and other relevant info.

Plus, now you can manually specify course duration and add a custom cover image for the My Courses tab.

Course reviews

Now, your learners can review and rate courses in their accounts. This way, you can get immediate feedback from your audience and see how to make your content even better. Reviews are enabled by default, but you can turn them off as well as enable/disable them for specific courses.

New report: Department progress

With this report, LMS admins can easily monitor how departments perform. It gives a clear breakdown of teams’ results: how many courses have been assigned, started, and completed and what the overall progress is. Plus, it’s easy to go deeper and view sub-departments’ progress just by clicking a parent department.

Exporting reports in XLSX format

Now, you can export reports from iSpring Learn in XLSX format. It's more user-friendly than CSV and allows you to work with training data in Excel in a more convenient way. This way, a report looks like a neat and clear Excel table.

Exporting to XLSX is available for new reports: Learner progress, Group progress, Course progress, Learner results, and Course details.

New report: Course Progress

The new report shows overall info on all courses in your account: how many learners have been assigned to courses, how many users started or completed a course, and more. You can use filters to zoom in on a specific department or quickly check the progress of courses assigned in the current month
