New REST API and SOAP API methods

The Getting a List of Course Modules method will help you retrieve a list of all modules within specific courses. A module can be a SCORM file, a video, a test, etc. Check out the API Help Docs here:

The Getting User Results on the Course Modules method allows you to get progress and completion details (time spent, due dates, etc.) for the entire LMS account or specific learners, courses, and modules. Check out the API Help Docs here:

Course Catalog big update

The new updated Course Catalog makes navigating the course list faster, easier, and more efficient for learners. It shows course titles, descriptions, estimated duration, number of modules, and more. Plus, learners can use a filter to prioritize courses with the highest ratings.

Accurate details on the learning track progress

Now, when you run a learning track overview report (in Reports → Learning Track Progress), you can dive deeper and get more details on each learning track. Just select a track and click on the Learner Progress button.

You’ll see the list of learners who’ve been assigned to this learning track with their due dates and progress, including granular details like how many courses they started and completed.

To access extra reporting options for each user, click on Completion Details, and the LMS will show this user’s progress on each course within a learning track. You can even check out each module in a course.

Event activity report: Keep track of learners’ activity

The report gives you access to the detailed metrics on each training session or web meeting: the list of users who registered for an event, the time each participant spent there, and other user-related info.

To check out users’ activity, in the Event report, select a web meeting or training session and click on Event Activity.

Events report: A quick overview of all events in your account

The new report shows all finished and planned events: their type (training or a web meeting), instructor’s name, location, duration, the number of participants, and much more.

To make reports more focused, use filters, e.g., if you need to estimate an instructor’s workload, you can run a report only for this trainer.

Knowledge Base

Now, iSpring Learn has a dedicated place where you can store and manage downloadable files: instructions, cheat sheets, or lists that may come in handy or serve as reference docs for your learners. You can upload any DOC, XLS, PPT, and PDF file or a link there. You don’t have to assign these files; they are available to all learners under the Knowledge Base tab.

New report: Learning Track Progress

The new report gives you overall info on all learning tracks in your LMS account, and you can see:
- which learning tracks have been started and completed and which are overdue
- what learner progress on each track is.
This way, you are always up to date on how your learners perform with their long-term programs.

Completion Details for Assignments

A freeform assignment is a task your learners complete outside of the LMS, e.g. a detailed answer to a question, a case study, or a presentation. Then, learners upload their files to iSpring Learn to be checked by an instructor.

Now, you can easily see in-depth info on your learners' freeform assignments: scores, completion dates, attempts, and instructor comments and replies.

New reports: Quiz details and dialog simulation details

With two new reports, you can get detailed stats on how specific learners progress with assessments. For any test or dialog simulation a user took, you can see:
- scores and number of attempts
- the time spent on the assessment
- the completion date
- a per-answer breakdown.
