iSpring Learn Summer Updates: Smarter Training, Easier Management

iSpring Learn Summer 2025 Updates

This summer, we released a wave of updates that make iSpring Learn more powerful for admins, more insightful for HRs, and more enjoyable for learners. From fresh integrations and new test types to smarter event management, each update is designed to help you deliver better training for your teams.

Here’s a roundup of what’s new:

Richer Learning Content and Assessments

Bring world-class courses into your LMS with GoodHabitz

With our new integration, you can bring 150+ GoodHabitz courses straight into iSpring Learn. Covering digital skills, creativity, leadership, and productivity, these courses give employees access to top-quality training while you manage everything in one place. Assign, track, and analyze without switching systems. The GoodHabitz library has learning content in 16 languages — a great choice for multilingual teams.

GoodHabitz integration

To use this feature, connect your GoodHabitz account with iSpring Learn and assign courses just as you would any internal training. Learners’ progress and results will automatically sync back, giving you a complete view of the learning activity. For example, you could launch a company-wide leadership program in multiple languages without having to build content from scratch.

Check deeper understanding with card sorting questions

We’ve also added a new test format: card sorting questions. Instead of simply recalling facts, learners are asked to group items into the correct categories. This reveals whether they understand relationships between the ideas. For example, you can use it to match risks to prevention methods or products to the right customer segment.

Creating a card sorting question is simple: add your items (text or images) and define the categories. iSpring Learn automatically formats the layout, so it looks good on any device. No need for manual design work — you’ll have an adaptive, interactive question type ready in only a couple of minutes.

Save time with instant quiz previews

Authors can now preview online quizzes instantly. This means no more clicking through every screen or question to see how the assessment looks. You can go straight to any question, check formatting, and resume editing immediately. This small change is a huge time-saver, especially for long or complex quizzes.

Simply open your quiz in edit mode and hit Preview > From the first slide or choose a specific question. You’ll be able to move through the content freely and confirm that everything displays correctly.

Keep learners focused with interactive Tabs in Pages

A new Tabs block in iSpring Page helps you present complex information in a clear, structured manner. Instead of scrolling through walls of text, learners can switch between tidy, clickable tabs within a course. This makes it easier to digest information, saves space, and reduces cognitive overload — especially on mobile devices.

Better Event and Training Management

Discover and join sessions faster with Training Catalog

The new Training Catalog in the user portal makes it easier than ever for employees to locate upcoming events. All webinars, workshops, and training sessions are in one place, with filters according to category, trainer, or location. The “Upcoming Events” block highlights what’s most relevant, while a calendar view helps learners plan ahead.

New Training Catalog

Learners can now enroll with a single click, giving admins clearer visibility into participation. To use the catalog, employees simply go to Trainings → Training Catalog in their portal. For example, a sales rep can quickly spot a negotiation workshop happening next week, sign up instantly, and add it to their calendar.

Join a waitlist when events are full

Popular training events may fill up fast and leave some learners disappointed. With the new Waitlist feature, employees can join a queue when an event is full and receive a notification if a seat becomes available. Admins can also monitor demand and schedule additional sessions when needed.

New Waitlist feature in iSpring Learn

To enable this, set up your event as usual and activate the waitlist option. Learners who miss the initial registration can then add themselves to the list. You can also enable waitlists for existing training events.

Manage locations better with Venue Library

Admins can now add detailed location information for every training and even create group venues by city or office. This makes managing events across multiple locations simple, and learners know exactly where to go.

For example, if you’re running sessions across three offices, you can group venues by city. Employees registering for a course will see the exact address and room, saving time and avoiding confusion.

To use it, go to Settings > Additional Options > Trainings > Locations. Then click Add Location.

Smarter Tools for Admins and Managers

Speed up planning with smarter task management in Development Plans

Development Plans are now easier to manage with smarter task handling. You can reorder or duplicate tasks within a stage and see updates instantly without reloading the page. Task descriptions now also support bulleted and numbered lists, making them more structured and easier to follow.

Control reminders with customizable 360° Review notifications

Performance reviews won’t clutter your inbox anymore. With customizable 360° Review notifications, you decide how and when reminders are sent. Adjust the frequency, delivery time, subject line, and message text to match your HR processes and employee preferences.

To configure this, open the 360° Review settings and customize the notifications as desired.

Customizable 360° Review notifications

For instance, instead of default daily reminders, you might set them for every two days at 10:30 AM when employees are more likely to take action without feeling overwhelmed.

Show every click with cursor assets in the image editor

It’s now possible to place cursor icons directly on images in the editor. This makes step-by-step instructions more intuitive: you’ll show learners exactly where to click rather than relying on lengthy text explanations.

You can choose between Cursors and Gestures:

  • Cursors work best for desktop apps. Use them to show mouse-based actions such as hover, drag, resize, and move.Cursor icon in the top toolbar
  • Gestures are designed for mobile interfaces. Use them to show touch-based actions like tap, double-tap, swipe, pinch-to-zoom, and similar gestures.Gesture option example
