How to Add a SCORM Course into NEO LMS

NEO LMS has gone through compliance tests with iSpring learning courses and we can now confirm that it supports SCORM uploading and reporting. Check out how to create a learning package with iSpring.

Just follow this tutorial on how to get your SCORM package into NEO LMS:

  1. 1 Make sure that you can generate reports as an administrator.
  2. 2 Switch to Classes on the administrative Dashboard.
  3. 3 Add a new Class by clicking Add.
  4. 4 In the open dialog window, select Class.
  5. 5 Add a new lesson by clicking Add in the upper-right corner.
  6. 6 Select New.
  7. 7 Now select SCORM.
  8. 8 Add a new SCORM by clicking on New.
  9. 9 Simply drag and drop a .zip file onto the dialog window.
  10. 10 Set properties for the SCORM package and click Save.

A good thing is that you will be notified once the SCORM has been uploaded:
  11. 11 To set playback, click the name of the uploaded SCORM package.
  12. 12 We recommend launching courses in a separate window.

How to add SCORM assignments

  1. 1 In the class dashboard switch to Assignments and click Add on the upper right pane.
  2. 2 In the open dialog window, select SCORM.
  3. 3 Select New to upload a new SCORM package, or Library to select a previously uploaded SCORM package.
If you select New, please follow the above-mentioned steps.
  4. 4 If you have clicked Library, select the desired SCORM package from the listed items.

After that you will need to configure playback and tracking settings in the dialog that will appear after clicking Submit.
  5. 5 Once the SCORM has been imported and set up, you can go to the SCORM dashboard, where you configure further workflow by clicking the Edit button.
Note: click Give to make the assignment viewable to users.
