How to Add a SCORM Course into Firmwater LMS

Firmwater LMS has gone through compliance tests with iSpring learning courses and we can now confirm that it supports SCORM uploading and reporting. Check out how to create a learning package with iSpring.

Just follow this tutorial on how to get your SCORM package into Firmwater LMS:

  1. 1 Log in as an Administrator (Organization or Local) to upload content. How to upload your course into Firmwater LMS
  2. 2 Select Content on the upper-right ribbon on the administrator dashboard.

  3. 3 Click Load content in the Activities section.

  4. 4 Drag and drop the SCORM package to the Load Content field and wait while it’s uploading. If you use an older version of the browser, click in this area and browse for the file.

  5. 5 After the SCORM package is uploaded, give it a Title, determine its Type (Course is a default value) and click the Load Content button below.

  6. 6 You will see the content item in the Activities list. Click on the item to open its properties.

  7. 7 Click Add participants and assign it to learners to start teaching.

How to generate reports in Firmwater

After your learners have completed any of the courses assigned to them, you can run reports to check their progress. There are several report types including the SCORM report with question details.

To run a SCORM report in Firmwater:

  1. 1 Log in as an Administrator and go to Reports in the upper-right corner of your administrative dashboard. How to generate reports in Firmwater LMS
  2. 2 Select a report you want to generate (e.g. SCORM insights) and click Launch report. Interaction data report in Firmwater LMS
  3. 3 Configure report details: date range, a test title and a user name. Set date range, a test title and a user name in the Interaction data report
