FAQ

I’m new to course development. Should I join this contest?

Absolutely! The contest is open to both beginners and seasoned professionals. We provide beginner-friendly learning materials to help you get started with the authoring tool. It’s a fantastic opportunity to build skills and grow your network!

What technology do I need to participate in the contest?

If you create a course in the slide-based format, you’ll need a Windows PC with Microsoft PowerPoint installed. If you choose the scrollable format, you’ll only need a stable internet connection and a browser.

I don’t have a subscription to iSpring Suite. Can I still join the contest?

Of course! We provide free access to iSpring Suite AI for the duration of the contest. Participants who pre-register will receive access on February 24. After that, newly registered participants will receive an email with installation and activation details within one day after registration.

What kind of support can I expect during the contest?

You’ll gain access to the iSpring learning platform, where you’ll find training materials and instructions available throughout the contest. You can learn at your own pace while creating your course.

We’ll also host live online sessions during the contest to provide key information and answer your questions.

How long should my course be, and what should it include?

Slide-based course created with iSpring Suite

Your course should be around 12-20 slides and include:

Can I submit a course I’ve already created?

No, your course must be created from scratch or specifically adapted to meet the contest requirements. To keep things fair, we cannot accept projects that were submitted to previous contests. Make this a fresh, original product that showcases your creativity and skills!

Can I still participate if I don’t have a course idea?

It’s totally fine if you don’t have a topic in mind right away! You’ll find a list of suggested topics in the contest instructions on the iSpring learning platform. Just choose one that inspires you and get started.

When can I start working on my course for the contest?

You can begin right after registering. Just submit your project by May 10. You’ll find detailed, step‑by‑step instructions for submitting your project on the learning platform.

Do I need to join the iSpring Knowledge Hub community?

Yes, we highly recommend joining the iSpring Learning Exchange on LinkedIn! It’s the perfect place to network with other participants, share your experiences, and ask questions. Plus, we’ll be posting helpful updates and tips throughout the contest to keep you informed and inspired. Don’t miss out on this valuable resource!

Can I compete in both categories?

Yes! You can explore the platform materials first, then decide whether to enter one category (Slide or Scrollable), or submit courses in both formats.
