How to insert Flash into PowerPoint

Inserting Flash into a PowerPoint presentation is very different from inserting any other type of media. There are two ways you can do it. You can go through a few steps to insert it manually directly into PowerPoint* or use a PowerPoint plugin that can insert Flash into your presentation.

Time Saver:
With iSpring Converter Pro it only takes a few clicks of your mouse to insert interactive multimedia: YouTube videos, Flash movies, Web objects, quizzes or interactions.

Unless you have a technical background, inserting Flash files manually can be quite challenging. If you would like to give it a try, you’re welcome to have a look at one of our tutorials below.

Things get much easier if you use a PowerPoint add-in that helps you add Flash automatically. iSpring Converter Pro is one of the tools that makes inserting Flash as easy as inserting a picture, audio or video.

Download iSpring Converter Pro (a PowerPoint add-in with the "Insert Flash" feature), install it and open PowerPoint. You will see the iSpring toolbar displayed differently, depending on the PowerPoint version you use:

iSpring Toolbar in PowerPoint 2007 or PowerPoint 2010:

iSpring in PowerPoint XP or PowerPoint 2003:

To insert a Flash file, click Insert Flash on the iSpring toolbar and select the Flash file you want to insert. That’s all it takes!

Now you can save your PowerPoint presentation or convert it into the easily distributable and viewable Flash format. iSpring will preserve all of the animations and transition effects in your presentation and will package the entire project including your inserted Flash and other media files into a single compact file. iSpring Flash files can easily be uploaded to any website or blog as well as to email.
