How to Add a SCORM Course into CourseSites LMS

CourseSites LMS has gone through compliance tests with iSpring learning courses and we can now confirm that it supports SCORM uploading and reporting. Check out how to create a learning package with iSpring.

Just follow this tutorial on how to get your SCORM package to CourseSites LMS:

  1. 1 Make sure that you are logged in as an administrator and can create new courses, upload files and resources.
  2. 2 Click on Create a Course on administrative dashboard.
  3. 3 Select Create New Course.
  4. 4 Enter a course name, ID, description and set Enrollment Options.
  5. 5 Select Customize Course on the Invite Students window.
  6. 6 Select Content on the left-hand panel.
  7. 7 Click on Build Content and select Content Package (SCORM).
  8. 8 Click on Browse My Computer to select a SCORM package. After the package is selected click on Submit.
  9. 9 Set the package information, availability and grading.
  10. 10 Click on Submit to complete the package configuration.
    Once SCORM packages are imported, they will be seen in the Content window of the course site.

How to generate reports in CourseSites:

  1. 1 Make sure that you are logged in as an administrator and can get to Control Panel of the course.
  2. 2 Select SCORM reports under the Evaluation inset to get to the list of SCORM packages in the course.
  3. 3 Click on the arrow icon.
  4. 4 Click on Run.
  5. 5 Select a user and click on Submit.
    Here is a report for SCORM 2004 quiz: Note that SCORM 1.2 does not allow to journal questions that is why text messages will not be displayed in the question column.
