AI in the Classroom and Beyond: Tools, Thinking, and New Assessment Models

AI in the Classroom and Beyond: Tools, Thinking, and New Assessment Models

Have you noticed your learners suddenly handing in flawless essays or acing tests on difficult topics? Chances are, AI is already in your classroom — whether or not you intended it. Students use tools like ChatGPT to research, write, revise, and generate ideas. That behavior alone isn’t the issue — the real challenge is deciding how to respond.

This session will show you how to use AI intentionally — guiding student behavior and creating assessments that continue to measure genuine understanding.

During this session, you’ll learn how to:

  • Help learners use AI tools effectively for research, summarizing, revising, and creating content
  • Establish clear ethical guidelines for student use of AI, including stronger prompts and better habits for reflection
  • Design fair, relevant assessments that account for AI while keeping the focus on learning goals

Special perks for attendees:

  • A certificate of attendance from iSpring
  • Access to the webinar recording
  • Useful resources and expert guide
