Create your first course

Convert existing presentations into online courses

Open the PowerPoint presentation you want to convert and click Publish. You can upload your course to iSpring Learn LMS, any other LMS, iSpring Cloud (an online eLearning content collaboration platform), YouTube, or save it on your computer.

Build a course from scratch with ready-made assets

Build a stunning course by choosing from an array of ready-made assets in iSpring Content Library. Select slide templates, backgrounds, characters, locations, and objects to give your course the right look and feel.

Customize your player

Adjust your player to match your brand identity. Click Player on the iSpring Suite tab. Click on where it says Colors to change the color scheme of your player.

Then go back to the player menu and select a layout and template that fits your course and set parameters for playback and navigation. You can add your company logo and info about the presenter as well.

When everything looks just how you want it, click Apply & Close to save changes and return to the course.

Make learning experiences more captivating and impactful by adding quick knowledge checks with drag-and-drop questions and by adding feedback to reinforce new knowledge.

For more in depth assessments, you can build a comprehensive quiz using 14 ready-made question types. Simply enter text, images, and audio and then set parameters for time limits, number of tries and branching.

Add narration

Record your voice

Open your presentation and select Record Audio. Then click on Start Recording and simply record your voiceover as you go through the presentation. Click Stop Recording when you’re finished. You can edit your voiceover under Manage Narration on the toolbar.

Convert text to speech

Need to add a professional voice-over but short on time? You can add an audio narration to your course without saying a word!

Go to Manage Narration, click on Audio and select Text to Speech. Type in your video script, select the type of voice you want to have read it, and click Insert. Your text will transform instantly into an authentic sounding voiceover.

Create a video tutorial

Record your screen, create videos with your webcam, and even layer them in picture-in-picture videos. Go to Screen Recording, select the type of video you want to create, the video quality you prefer and click Record. When you’re done, you can edit and enhance your video in the video studio built right into iSpring Suite.

role-play

Build captivating role-plays with ready-made images of characters and locations. Click on Role-play and then select New scene. It’s easy to build scenes for your role-play with iSpring’s intuitive drag and drop functionality.

Publish your course

When your eLearning course is ready, click Publish. You have several publishing options:

  • iSpring Learn: Upload your courses to iSpring Learn LMS to easily assign it to your learners and track their progress.
  • An LMS: If you use another LMS, you can easily upload your course there as well.
  • iSpring Cloud: Publish your course to iSpring Cloud to store it in the cloud and let your team review it.
  • YouTube: Video presentations can be uploaded directly to your YouTube channel.
  • Computer: Select this option if you want to save your course as a video or an HTML5 file on your computer.

Select whatever option you want and click Publish. Congrats! You’re all done!

You can also create a course online!

Create long-form courses all in the cloud. Go to your iSpring Cloud account and click Create. Select Page. Enter text, images, videos and knowledge checks. When your longread is ready, share it with your learners.
