How to Upload Your Course into Skilljar LMS

Skilljar has gone through compliance tests with iSpring learning courses and we can now confirm that it supports SCORM uploading and reporting. Check out how to create a learning package with iSpring.

Just follow this tutorial on how to get your SCORM package into Skilljar LMS:

  1. 1 Make sure that you are an administrator and possess all rights to upload/import SCORM content items.
  2. 2 In your dashboard, go to Course Management:
  3. 3 Navigate to a course you want to add your content to (or create a new one by clicking New Course):
  4. 4 Click New Lesson and select SCORM 1.2/Web Package from the drop-down menu.
  5. 5 Click Choose File and search for a course (must be a .zip file) on your computer.
  6. 6 Click Save Lesson and then Publish course, as demonstrated in the picture below.

  1. 1 Make sure that you are an administrator and can generate reports for user activities and courses.
  2. 2 Proceed to Analytics.
  3. 3 Select Quizzes to view SCORM insights.
  4. 4 Under SCORM Items, select a course/quiz you want to generate a report for. Note that in this list you see only average numbers for items.
  5. 5 You will see the Answer Breakdown report that displays users’ answers.
  6. 6 By switching to the Students tab, you will be able to select a user to view his/her statistics.
  7. 7 Select a user to see his/her current progress.

Note that SCORM 1.2 does not allow to journal questions. That is why you will see interactions’ IDs instead of actual question text.

Also, Skilljar LMS works with “passed/failed” statuses. That is why if you select “completed/incomplete” status in the Learning Course settings, the Status in the report can be blank.
