Compression Control
Compression Presets
iSpring Presenter provides 4 preset compression modes for Publishing on the web (with high and low connection speed), Publishing for Local Network and for CD distribution. Also you can create up to 10 custom compression modes that will fit your personal requirements the best way.
iSpring reduces the size of Flash presentation by compressing the embedded images, sounds and videos. In most cases advanced iSpring compression techniques allow to reduce the size of presentation up to ten times and even more.
Smart Compression
"Smart" compression is a unique image compression technique. It optimizes the size of your presentation striving to provide the highest quality of image content.
Images can be stored in Flash format with "Lossy"(JPEG) or "Lossless"(PNG) compression. "Lossy" is the most convenient for photos and realistic images since this compression type allows decreasing the image size up to 10+ times with insignificant quality losses. In case you use diagrams, sketches, charts in presentation, it's better to apply "Lossless" compression which converts images with the highest quality. So the both types have their pros and cons.
Since presentations usually contain various types of images there is no best choice of the compression type - you either lose in the quality or the size. In this case "Smart" compression is what you need! The unique iSpring "Smart" compression technique analyses each image's content, automatically determines its type and chooses the best way of saving it in Flash format. This helps to keep the quality high and the size small!
Sound Compression
By default iSpring sets 96 KBit/s keeps though you can keep the original quality of your audio files. Here you can listen to the sample sound saved in different compression levels.

Saving files separately from Flash movie results in the higher quality of embedded resources and higher speed of conversion.
