iSpring provides educational institution as well as non-profit and charitable organizations with the iSpring Free license to help them accomplish their missions.

Academic and non-profit organizations can also get significant discounts on the advanced iSpring software for Flash and e-learning authoring: iSpring Pro, iSpring Presenter and iSpring QuizMaker.

To verify your academic or non-profit status, we require an official dated paperwork. Please, find the list of acceptable documents below, and provide us with one acceptable for your organization. Please, scan your document and save it in the standard file format JPG, GIF or PDF. All forms of identification must be clearly legible.

Acceptable Forms of Academic Identification

Teachers, Faculty and Staff Members

  • Dated Faculty/Staff Identification card with photo
  • A teaching contract that indicates the period of current validity
  • A current institution paycheck stub
  • A signed and dated letter on school letterhead confirming your current employment

K-12 and Higher Education Students

  • Dated Student Identification card with photo
  • Office progress report or report card currently dated
  • Current school tuition bill indicating name of school and student
  • A signed and dated letter on school letterhead confirming that you are a current enrolled student at the school.

Acceptable Forms of Non-Profit Identification

  • A copy the Determination Letter, officially recognizing the organization's tax-exempt status under §501(c)(3) of the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) tax code is required.
  • A copy of EIN (Employer Identification Number) letter from IRS.
  • A brief description of what your non-profit organization is all about or mission statement, typed on your organization letterhead.

Note: If your company is outside the United States, you must still provide us with an equivalent type of document issued by your country.

The following nonprofit and charity organizations are excluded from the iSpring Free Non-Profit license program:

  • Private foundations, as defined by §509 of IRS code
  • Hospitals not wholly-owned by a university
  • Health-care systems, or other like for-profit health management organizations
  • Federally funded research labs
  • Government or political organizations
  • Labor or fraternal organizations
  • Nonprofit lobbyist groups
