Users of iSpring Learn can send messages to Administrators, Organization Administrators, Account Ownerand ask Experts course-relating questions.

Exchanging Messages between Users and Administrators

  1. To write a message, open the Messages tab in the main menu of iSpring Learn and click the pen image.



  2. In the Select Recipients window choose the user you want to message. To do this, start entering the name, last name or email of the user and choose the right variant of those suggested by the system. 



  3. In the opened dialog, type the message and send it. 



  4. Your interlocutor will receive a push-notification in the mobile application, browser and an email, and will see an alert in the Messages tab of the main menu of iSpring Learn. 

Exchanging Messages between Users and Experts

The users can send messages to the expert and receive a feedback from him/her.
  1. To contact the expert, click the Ask an expert link on the course starting page. 


    The option to send messages should be switched on in Settings < Additional Options < User Portal < Enable private messaging. If this option is disabled, the photo of the expert will be displayed on the course starting page but without the Ask an expert link.

  2. On the Messages page type your message for the expert and send it.


  3. The expert will see a notification about a new message in the Messages menu tab and will also receive a push-notification in the mobile application (if it is installed), in the browser and an email.


  4. To read the user’s message and respond, the expert should open the dialog, enter the text and click the icon in the right bottom corner of the dialog.


  5. Individual messages can’t be deleted, only the entire dialog. To do this, click the top right corner of the dialog and click Delete chat.


  6. Confirm your decision in the Delete chat window. To do this, click the Delete button.


The deleted dialog will disappear only in the account, where the removal has been performed. In the interlocutor’s account, the correspondence history will be kept.

If the expert is deleted from the course, the system or deactivated, the correspondence history will be also kept while the dialogs will be no longer active.
