1. To schedule a webinar in the calendar, open the Events tab in the main menu of the admin portal, then click the Add button and choose Webinar



  2. Enter the webinar name in the Subject field.
  3. Choose the webinar date and time in the Date and Time field. The webinar starting time is entered in the 12-hour format with am/pm.
  4. Choose the timezone to make sure the webinar timing corresponds with the local time. 
  5. Set the duration of the webinar in the HH:MM format. 
  6. If the webinar presenter is not the person who owns the account, type their name in the Organizer field. The organizer can be any LMS user with the role of a publisher, an administrator, an organization administrator, or an account owner. 



  7. Choose the webinar type: Closed or Open

    • If a webinar is closed, only invited users can access it. They all should be registered in the system. 
    • If a webinar is open, anyone can register for the webinar. 
      You can stop the registration process at any time if the number of registered participants is larger than you expected. This can be done even if the webinar has already started. Simply tick the Do not allow users to register for the webinar option.



      For an open webinar, you can copy the direct link to register for it and send it out.



       8. Add up to 3 notifications for your webinar participants. They will serve as a reminder of the event for your users

       9. To save the changes, click the Save button. 

       

While setting up a webinar you can start the network diagnostics to check the connection to the necessary hosts, availability of ports and compatibility with the current browser. The diagnostics are launched automatically every time you start a webinar. Also, the diagnostics button is available in the webinar editing form, on the successful registration page, and on the waiting room page.
