After users complete an assignment, they need to submit it to the administrator to get verified.

  1. After a user sends an assignment to get checked, the administrator:

    1) will receive a notification about the completed assignment to the email (if the email notifications are enabled);
    2) will see the assignment in the Ready for evaluation area on the Dashboard page;

    3) will see the Pending Review status in the Assignments Results report. Learn more about this type of report here.

  2. To grade a user's attempt, click the link next to their name on any of above-mentioned pages.

  3. You will get to the User Attempts page. Here you can read the user's message and check the completed assignment.

  4. Grade the assignment and put your mark in percent into the Completion Score field. You can comment on the assignment and attach files to it.

    If the completion score is lower than the passing score, the assignment will be declined.

    If the completion score is equal to the passing score or higher than it, the assignment will be accepted.

  5. If the assignment is declined, the user will be notified of it.

    When the user clicks the notification, they get to the User Attempts page. There, the user will see the score they were given for the assignment and admin comments if there are any.

    Now, the user can make another attempt to pass the assignment if there are any attempts left. To do this, they need to send a corrected assignment to the administrator.

  6. If the assignment is accepted, the user will be notified of it.

    When the user clicks the notification, they get to the User Attempts page. There, the user will see the score they were given for the assignment and admin comments if there are any.
