Under the General tab, edit the training theme, type, description, thumbnail, cover image, and organizer.

Training type

Select the training type: a meeting or a webinar.

A meeting is an event where some important topics are discussed. For example, before the course starts, the course mentor usually arranges a meeting with learners to explain how the learning process is organized.

A webinar is an educational event during which an instructor shares their knowledge with learners and they ask questions.

Description

The description length cannot exceed 3,000 characters. This field is optional.

Organizer

The user who created the training is assigned as the training organizer by default.

The training creator can select a different organizer, who should be a user from departments they manage or their sub-departments. 

The Account Owner, Account Administrator, Department Administrator, Publisher, or a user with a custom role enabled to view trainings can all be assigned as an organizer.

After the training has been created, the organizer will receive a notification about having been assigned as a training organizer. The organizer will also be notified of any changes made to the training.

The link for contacting the organizer will be displayed on the training page in the user portal and participants will be able to contact them

ThumbnailA small image that conveys the training theme will be visible in the My Trainings section of the user portal. The recommended proportion of sides of the image is 16:9, the recommended dimensions are at least 640*360 pixels, and the supported formats are PNG or JPG.
Training cover imageThis is the image that will be visible to users when viewing the training in the user portal. The recommended dimensions are 1920*500 pixels, and the supported formats are PNG, JPG, or GIF.
