In this question, students must drag text boxes, pictures, and/or shapes to the specified places on the slide.

To add this question, go to the Question menu and click Drag and Drop.

To create the question, go to Slide View mode and insert objects (shapes, images, text boxes) that will act as drag-and-drop objects and destination areas.

Then go to Form View mode and select the Drag Item and Drop Target for each object. When you select an item from the list, it will be highlighted in the preview image.

Each dragged object can have only one destination area, or none at all.

In the Slide Options on the right, you can configure detailed settings for Drag and Drop questions.

Snap drag item to:
Any drop target

Any dragged object can be moved to any drop target. With this option selected, it is snapped to the drop target when it comes into contact with it.

Correct drop target

The dragged object can only be moved to the drop target specified for the object. Otherwise, the dragged object will return to its initial position on the slide.

Don't snap

Any dragged object can be moved to any part of the slide, regardless of whether it is a drop target or not. The object is not snapped to any drop target.

Snapping type:
Stack random

The first object will be placed in a random part of the drop target. All subsequent dragged objects will be placed on top of the previous object, almost completely covering it.

Stack cascadeThe first object will be placed in the upper left corner of the drop target. Subsequent objects will be placed slightly down and to the right.
Snap to centerAll objects will be placed in the center of the drop target.
TileThe first object will be placed in the upper left corner of the drop target. Subsequent objects will be placed next to each other, moving from left to right.

Note: When the Don't snap option is selected, the Snapping type drop-down list is not available.

Drop item replaces the previous oneIf there is already a dragged object on the drop target, the new dragged object will take its place, and the current object will move to its initial position.
Before a new attempt:
Leave drag items in placeAfter an unsuccessful attempt, the objects remain in the places selected in the previous attempt.
Return drag items to start pointAfter an unsuccessful attempt, the objects return to their starting positions.

Note: This setting is only available if you have enabled more than one attempt to answer the question.
