The student should drag and drop words from the word bank into the blanks in the text.

To add this question, go to the Question menu and click Drag the Words.

When creating the question, enter the text in the Text with Blanks field. Then replace some words or phrases with blanks and enter the correct options in the fields. To do this, select the word in the text and click Insert Blank or Ctrl + G on the keyboard.

Additional distractor words can be added to the question: they will be in the general list of words, but will not be correct answers for any of the fields. To do this, enter them in the Additional Words list.

In the Slide Options on the right, you can specify additional settings for the Drag the Words question.

Sort words alphabetically

In the Slide Options, select Sort words alphabetically to arrange the words in alphabetical order.

Before a new attempt
  • Keep words in same locations
    All the words that the user has placed remain in their places on the next attempt.
  • Return all words to their initial state
    All the words that the user has placed are returned to the word bank. The user must begin again.
