Information on the leaderboard, received points and badges will appear i= n the Achievements section only if gamification is enabled in the account.
Under the Leaderboard tab, employees can assess their p= rogress respective to other department users. The more points a student ear= ned, the higher is their rank in the leaderboard.
Users can earn points for viewing and passing courses. The number of awa= rded points can be set either in the gamification settings or in the propert= ies of each course.
The administrator can award users with points and deduct them.
How Users with the Same Points are Shown in the List
If users have the same number o=
f points, then, in the user portal, they see the points of all employees ex=
cept those with whom the points matched. Users with the same number of poin=
ts occupy the same place in the ranking.
For example, Valerie, Anthony, an= d Emma each have 22 points. In the overall ranking, all three of them took = 5th place. Valerie will see herself in the 5th place on the list, but will = not see Anthony or Emma. The next user on the list will not be shown in 6th= place, but in 8th place, since the 2 places of Anthony and Emma will be sk= ipped.
Here=E2=80=99s what this next user (Elizabeth) sees:
1st place: Stepan, with 30 points
2nd place: Peter, with 25 points
3rd place: Alice, with 24 points
4th place: Anna, with 23 points5th place: Valerie, with 22 points
8th =
place: Elizabeth, with 18 points
The Administrator sees all users, even if they have the same numbe= r of points. Their places in the overall ranking will be the same.= p>
