With the Guided Image interaction you can explain the structure of a piece of complex equipment, create an office building scheme or prepare guidelines for the sales representatives who are interested in demonstrating the product from every side. 

The Guided Image interaction consists of a picture with arrow pointers on it. Each pointer shows an element of the picture and, when being clicked on, opens a window with a detailed description. 

Picture Position

  1. To indicate which part of the slide the picture should be located in, click the Properties button on the toolbar. 



  2. In the Picture Position drop-down list, select the picture position on the slide: LeftRight, Top or Bottom.



  3. Click the Apply and Close button on the toolbar to save the changes.

Picture Width

  1. To configure the picture width settings, click the Properties button on the toolbar. 



  2. In the Picture Width drop-down list, select the width value or enter the value manually. 



  3. Click the Apply and Close button on the toolbar to save the changes.

Adding Picture

By default, there is already an image in place when you create a new Guided Image interaction. To change the default image to your own, click the Change Picture button on the toolbar. You can paste the image from the clipboard or select a file on your computer.

Alternatively, you can change the main interaction picture in the editor area. Click the Change button beneath the preview image at the bottom right corner and select where to upload a picture from: From File or From Clipboard.

 iSpring Visuals supports all popular image formats: .bmp, .gif, .pg, .png, .tiff, .wdp.

You can add an unlimited number of pictures.

Adding Labels

  1. To add a new label, click the Add label button on the toolbar.



  2. A new label will appear on the image and in the list of labels. Drag it to an appropriate location on the image.





  3. Enter the label title and description. The users will see them when they click on the selected arrow. 



  4. Add extra content to the label description: images, videos, an audio track, rich text, characters, a background or objects. To do this, go to the Insert tab and select the option you need. To make the tab appear, place the cursor into the label description area.

    You can add an unlimited number of labels.

Changing Label Color

To change the label color, select the label in the Labels list and click the Arrow Color button on the toolbar.

Choose one of the default colors in the Theme Colors drop-down.

If you can't find an appropriate color, pick one in the More colors window.

In the Colors window you can:

  1. Choose one of the default or recently used colors.



  2. Choose a color on the color scale.



  3. Enter the RGB values.



  4. Enter the color code manually.



  5. Use the Eyedropper tool.

    Select the label you want to change the color of.



    Click the Eyedropper tool icon.



    Place the tool onto the slide area you want to copy the color of. It can be an area outside of the iSpring Visuals window.



    Left-click and the selected label will change its color.

Changing Label Direction

Change the direction the label points to. To do this, select the label, click the Direction button on the toolbar and select the angle the arrow should point at.

Arranging Labels

The order presented in the Labels list will be the order the users see the labels in when navigating inside the interaction using the navigation buttons (Next and Previous).

To change the order of the labels, select a label and drag it along the Labels list to place it in another position. To select more labels at once, hold the Ctrl button on the keyboard and select the labels.

You can move the labels using the Move up and Move down buttons in the context menu. To open the context menu, right-click the labels in the Labels list.

Duplicating Labels

To create a duplicate of a label, click the Duplicate button in the context menu. A label with the same name, description, and position will appear on the image and in the list.

Deleting Labels

To remove a label, select it and click the Delete button on the toolbar, the keyboard or in the context menu.

Adding Introduction and Summary

To add an introduction and a summary to your interaction, tick the boxes above and below the labels in the Labels list.

Add a title and a description to the introduction and the summary in the editing area.
