Next to the field name, you can find the Field ID.  iSpring Learn uses Field ID as a variable in certificates and notifications. 



You can specify the ID for all new custom fields that you create or edit. However, the ID cannot be changed if the field type is Email, First Name, Last Name, Login, Job Title, or Country.



Every field ID is unique and cannot be duplicated. Make sure you do not use any of the IDs listed below when adding new fields. If you do, iSpring Learn will add the existing field IDs to a dynamic certificate, and the information will be incorrect. 


Here's the list of IDs that already exist in iSpring Learn:

CERTIFICATE_IDA unique identifier for every certificate awarded.

DURATIONThe amount of time student spent on completing your course.
COURSE_DURATIONRecommended duration time.
DATEDate when student completed your course in the day/month/year format.

EXPIRATION_DATECertificate expiration date automatically calculated starting from the date when the certificate was issued.

Date and time when the student completed your course in American date format: month/day/year.
