Add a training to the сatalog and allow your learners to self-enroll in it.

Adding Training to the Catalog

To add a training to the catalog

  1. On the Edit Training page, open the Availability tab.



  2. Select Add this training to the catalog and choose the category the training will belong to.



  3. If the Learners need administrator approval to enroll in this training option is disabled, learners can merely open the training in the Catalog section and click the Enroll in training button.

    If you enable the Learners need administrator approval to enroll in this training option, students will need to send a request in order to enroll.



  4. Finally, save changes. 


Request for a Training

To send a request to attend a training:

  1. Go to the Catalog section of the user portal.

  2. In the catalog, select the Trainings tab.

  3. Next, locate the desired training and click on it.



  4. The next step is to select the desired session with seats available and click Send a request for the training


Note:

  • You can only register for a session that still has some seats available.

To approve or decline a learner's request:

  1. Click on the number of requests shown on the Dashboard



  2. On the Requests for learning page, click on the request.



  3. Next, select one of the options:

    Approve

    If you approve the request, confirm your choice once again by clicking the Approve button.

    After the approval, the learner will receive a notification in their account and by email. The training will appear in the My Trainings section of the user portal and the user will be enrolled in that training.

    Reject

    If you reject the request, the learner will receive a notification in the user portal and won't be enrolled in the training.

    Edit request

    You can enroll a user in another session. Select a new session on the menu and click Approve.

    The user will receive a notification about the request being approved and an alert about the date and time of the session they've been enrolled in, both in the account and by email.
