Zapier is a service that allows you to connect iSpring Market with other applications, speed up business processes, and save time.

The over 2000 apps supported by Zapier spare you from having to perform routine tasks and increase your level of customer care. For example, you can set up the addition of all payments to Google Sheets or automatically add all new users to a MailChimp email list.

Programming skills aren't required. Following these instructions, you will be able to enable Zapier in your iSpring Market account easily and set up the automated processes that you choose.

Main Terms

Zapier is a service that makes apps work together. This kind of connected workflow of two or more applications (Apps) is called a Zap

In our case, it's a Zap between iSpring Market and a third-party application.

To create a Zap, two main components are required:

  1. A Trigger Event that will launch the action.
  2. An Action Event that will result from the Trigger Event.

How Zapier Works

The principle of creating a Zap is: IF a trigger event X occurs, THEN an action event Y happens.

There are three types of trigger events for iSpring Market:

  • adding a new user
  • viewing a course
  • purchasing a course

Here are some examples of the many Zaps you can set up using trigger events available in iSpring Market:

  • IF a course has been purchased, THEN a message is sent to the administrator in WhatsApp
  • IF a new payment has been completed, THEN its details are added to Google Sheets
  • IF a user has been added to the account, THEN their details are added to Google Sheets
  • IF a new payment has been made, THEN its details are added to Google Calendar

In our instructions, we will outline how to create a Zap between iSpring Market and Google Sheets. Its purpose will be the automatic addition of all new account users to Google Sheets.

How Much Zapier Costs

There are free and paid membership plans available in Zapier.

To start with, the free plan will be a perfect fit. It has the following limitations:

  • 5 zaps (only single-stage zaps: one trigger event — one action event)
  • 100 actions per month (the number of times when the trigger event was started and the action event happened)
  • Update time (the periodicity with which Zapier retrieves data from iSpring Market)
  • No access to applications available for paid membership plans

On the Zapier website, you can read through the service documentation or send a request to the Zapier support team.
