Step 3. Choose a Question Type<\/h2>\n

There are 14 types of quiz questions<\/a> in iSpring Suite. To select the needed type click the\u00a0Question<\/strong>\u00a0tab.<\/p>\n

Step 4. Add a Question Text<\/h2>\n

Step 5. Set a Quiz Timer<\/h2>\n

In iSpring Suite, there are three ways to set timing for a quiz. Check out these major timer options below.<\/p>\n

Set the same time for all questions<\/h3>\n

If questions in your timed quiz are of a more or less equal difficulty, you can set the same time limit for each of them. Click on Properties<\/strong> on the toolbar:<\/p>\n

Tick Limit time to answer the question<\/strong> and set a time limit. To apply the setting, click on Save<\/strong>.\u00a0Now, your quiz takers will see a timer warning that will show them the end time for each unanswered quiz question in real-time.<\/p>\n

Set custom time limit for quiz questions<\/h3>\n

In some quizzes, there can be different levels of difficulty for each question. For example, we tend to count answering an essay question as more difficult than deciding whether a statement is true or false.\u00a0 They will require a different amount of time. In iSpring Suite, you can determine a custom time limit for each question.<\/p>\n

Select the question in your timed quiz and, in the Slide Options<\/strong> tab, tick Limit time to answer the question<\/strong>. Set the number of minutes the quiz taker will have to answer.<\/p>\n

Set a general time limit<\/h3>\n

If you don\u2019t need to limit questions separately, you can set an overall time limit for your interactive quiz to make it automatically stop. This way, your quiz takers need to submit their answers before the time runs out.\u00a0 iSpring Suite offers this feature as wel<\/strong>l.<\/p>\n

Click on Properties<\/strong>. In the Main Properties<\/strong> tab, tick Time to complete the quiz<\/strong> and specify a time limit. To apply the settings, click on Save<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
