Acceptable Forms of Non-Profit Identification
To verify non-profit status of your organization, we require an official dated confirmation. Please, scan one of the following documents and save it in any standard file format as JPG, GIF or PDF. All forms of identification must be clearly legible.
- A copy the Determination Letter, officially recognizing the organization's tax-exempt status under §501(c)(3) of the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) tax code.
- A copy of EIN (Employer Identification Number) letter from IRS.
- A brief description of what your non-profit organization is all about or mission statement, typed on your organization letterhead.
Note: If your company is outside the United States, you must still provide us with an equivalent type of document issued by your country.
The following nonprofit and charity organizations are excluded from the iSpring Non-Profit License Program:
- Private foundations, as defined by §509 of IRS code
- Hospitals not wholly-owned by a university
- Health-care systems, or other like for-profit health management organizations
- Federally funded research labs
- Government or political organizations
- Labor or fraternal organizations
- Nonprofit lobbyist groups
