How to turn on the support of Oriental characters in the Advanced player? Permalink
If you encounter incorrect rendering of oriental characters in the Advanced player, follow the instructions below:
- Click Publish on the iSpring Pro ribbon in your PowerPoint:
- In the General tab, make sure that you have Advanced Glossy or Advanced Matte player selected from the drop-down list in the Player Template section. Click the Customize button next to it.
- In the Player Customization window, click Miscellaneous on the left-hand sidebar and mark the checkbox next to ‘Use system fonts (Improves rendering of oriental characters)’. Click OK and close the Player customization window.
- Now all that's left is to publish your presentation to Flash. Even if you have already published it before, you have to do it again in order to let the new settings apply:
That’s all! Now iSpring will use your system fonts to better represent oriental characters used in your PowerPoint presentation.
