If you are entering your Registration Name and the license Serial Number
which you have received via e-mail after your order had been
processed and you see an error message, please review the following
points:
-
Make sure that you are entering the Registration Name and Serial
Number correctly. Please, copy and paste your registration data instead of typing it by hand.
-
Confirm that you are using the appropriate version of iSping because the serial numbers for the latest versions may not fit the earlier versions of iSpring. Use Upgrade button from iSpring toolbar to get the latest versions of iSpring products.
-
If you still have problems with iSpring activation, contact

It is important to make your presentation compact for web publishing. iSpring Pro Smart compression allows to optimizes images and photos in your presentation for best look and quality with minimum file size. You can also
reduce the audio/video bit rates to decrease
the total size of your presentation manually. To adjust compression settings
go to Publish -> Media tab.
Flash presentations start to play as soon as the first slide is loaded, so the users will not wait. If you have large presentation you can add Preloader and it will let your viewers see loading progress.
To insert a Flash movie into your presentation, please click on the Insert Flash button on iSpring toolbar and you will see file open window. Select a Flash movie file that you would like to be inserted into your presentation and click Open.

iSpring Pro is enhanced with additional facilities to support both left-to-right and right-to-left languages. PowerPoint handles international content perfectly, but at the same time Flash format has several limitations. The main issue causes right-to-left way of writing. You may learn more about
right-to-left languages support implemented in iSpring.
If you have specified background audio file(s) for entire presentation or for
separaet slides, but it doesn't appear in your Flash presentation,
please make sure that:
-
you have specified audio files of iSpring supported file formats: .wav, .wma and .mp3
-
your PowerPoint presentation and embedded audio files are located on your local drive (not a network share) and avaliable for iSpring.
iSpring currently supports audio files in .WAV, .MP3 and .WMA format.
Embedded audio and video files greatly increase presentation file size. iSpring Pro decreases the size dramatically converting it to Flash format by effective compression methods available in Flash technology. iSpring Pro lets you control compression level and thus the size of your presentation. The higher compression level, the less your Flash presentation file size. To manage compression, please, click "Publish" button on the iSpring toolbar and in "Media" tab choose image/audio/video compression. You can
read more about compression on iSpring web site.
In most cases iSpring generates Flash files of much smaller size than
original PowerPoint file. Also unlike PowerPoint Presentations that require
preliminary download, Flash files created with iSpring Pro can start
playing while being still downloaded - as soon as the first slide data are received. So
iSpring makes your presentations Web-friendly and easily distributable.
To decrease the Flash file size you can do the following:
-
You can reduce the audio/video bit rates or the quality of images,
go to Publish -> Media.
-
You can also make lower Frame rate; go to
Publish -> Settings and set the
Flash Movie frame rate.
Yes, there is a limitation caused by Flash technology and it only influences very large presentations. We tested conversion of different presentations including more than 500 slides and iSpring Pro showed quite stable results. Problems with conversion of large presentations might be caused by:
-
insufficient resources of your PC since the conversion process requires high amount of RAM. To fix the problem, please, increase the virtual memory on your PC.
-
the limitation on number of frames set for Flash format. Any Flash file can contain not more than 65536 objects. This limitation was set by the creators of Flash format and you may read more about it
here.
The banner at the bottom of generated Flash movie is a limitation of a trial version. To remove it you need to
purchase iSpring Pro and register your copy. After registration the banner will be disabled.
Video files inserted into the presentation can be in many different formats. To make a video file play there should be a special program called "codec" installed on your PC. Your video should be recoded from the source format to Flash in order to be in your Flash presentation. To create a video in Flash format FlashSpring uses FFMPEG library. iSpring usually supports .AVI, .MOV, .MPG, .MPEG, .ASF, .WMV video formats. So if your video doesn’t play, please, make sure that it is in one of the formats listed above, but if you still continue to have troubles use our
feedback form to inform us about it. We highly appreciate your cooperation and our Support Team will be happy to help you.

To use the entire width of the screen, please, change the size of the slides in PowerPoint. Please note, it might impact the visual quality.
In PowerPoint 2000/XP/2003 you can do it by going to "File"-->"Page setup". There you may change the size of the slide. Try different combinations and find the one that will suit you the best.
In PowerPoint 2007 go to "Design"-->"Page Setup"
It is very easy to do with PowerPoint and iSpring. On PowerPoint toolbar choose "Insert" tab, then "Shapes" or any other object you like, and then specify the hyperlink or any other external file for this button. To add hyperlink right click on the shape you chose, click "Hyperlink" and specify the relative path to the file you want. Relative path means that the path should not be full and should look like "my_video.swf". Now convert your presentation with iSpring. Clicking the button you created will launch another file during Flash presentation playback. Please, note that both generated Flash file and the external file you linked should be placed in the same folder.
Please follow the instructions below:
1.Open PowerPoint 2003 and go to Help --> About Microsoft Office PowerPoint.

2. Dialogue box open. Click on Disabled Items.

3. Highlight Addin: flash spring pro 3 (fspro3.ppa), Enable button becomes live. Click on Enable and then restart PowerPoint.
FlashSpring generated presentations use ActionScript 2. Flash player allows loading of AS2 Flash movie into AS3 Flash movie, however they will run in isolated environments - it is not possible to perform a function call from AS3 movie to AS2 movie and vice versa. Therefore ActionScript API of FlashSpring generated presentations is not accessible directly to Flex applications.
The only way to perform interaction between them is to use LocalConnection class. It allows interaction between 2 flash movies on one machine.
Currently FlashSpring generated presentations do not open LocalConnection, however it is possible to develop an SWF wrapper module in ActionScript 2 which will load generated presentation and interact with it via its ActionScript API. On the other hand this wrapper module will create a local connection and execute commands from Flex application. It will also notify the Flex application about playback events (slide changed, etc) via Local connection created by the Flex application.
In the future versions of FlashSpring SDK we plan to implement so-called "player core plugins", small SWF modules which are integrated into player core during presentation conversion which extend core functionality.
Yes, it is possible to do using COM API of FlashSpring Server via Java-COM bridge. This method provides better flexibility (for example your application can receive notifications of the conversion progress). The example of Java-FlashSpring interaction via Java-COM bridge can be found in FlashSpring Server documentation.
iSpring products are always available to
download on iSpring web site. If you would like to get your software on CD, all you need to do is choose an option "Get it on CD!" on the purchase page:
To upload your presentation on web, you need to have access to FTP account of the site where you wish to put your presentation. If you have iSpring Pro installed on your computer, please follow the instructions below:
- Open your PowerPoint and click "Publish" button on iSpring toolbar
- On the left side of "Publish" window choose "WEB/FTP"
- Click "Edit Accounts" button, choose "New" to create new FTP account
- Fill in all of the fields and click "Ok" button
Check the box next to "Generate HTML" (Publish --> General) and click "Publish" button.
After your presentation is published to FTP account, you will need to specify your Flash presentation in the source code of the web-page where your Flash movie will be shown by adding special peace of code. To get this piece of code Generate HTML function of iSpring Pro is used. That code will look as follows:
<object id="presentation" width="720" height="540" classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-
444553540000" codebase="http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab
#version=8,0,0,0" align="middle">
<param name="allowScriptAccess" value="sameDomain" />
<param name="movie" value="MOVIE_NAME.swf" />
<param name="quality" value="high" />
<param name="bgcolor" value="#ffffff" />
<embed src="MOVIE_NAME.swf" quality="high" bgcolor="#ffffff" width="720" height="540"
name="presentation" align="middle" allowScriptAccess="sameDomain" type="application/x-shockwave
-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" />
</object>
Please note that the MOVIE_NAME.swf must be replaced by the name of your Flash presentation.
If you would like to have multiple movies available on the same page, publish these Flash movies to your computer first and then copy/paste tag content from each index.html file to the one you choose.
Links in "References" do not work because of the web browser settings. In order to make your links work click on "Options" button in the upper right corner and choose "Allow pop-ups for…"
