Crystal skin of the Player many facilities that you can easily optimize for your presentation by using "Customize" button, that's why it doesn't have any customizable features that can be changed via .XML file.

Tabs and buttons are managed with the help of check boxes.
There are "Outlines", "Thumbnails", "Notes" and "Presenter" tabs. You can choose which tabs you want to see in your presentation easily just by checking/unchecking the box next to the tab. In example below it is shown how you can remove "Outlines" tab.
"Presenter Photo" and "Company Logo" can be shown or hidden by checking/unchecking the boxes next to them.
"Reset defaults" button turns on all of the parameters.
Sound volume control.
"Search" option. You can easily find the slide or phrase you need by searching for it in "Slide text" and/or "Slide Notes".
"Full screen" option. "Full screen" mode is working while the presentation is viewed by user. This option will be available in browser as well if you have Flash Player 9 installed on your PC.
"References" option allows you to add links to the web resources and file attachments that lets users learn more information on various subjects related to the main topic of your original presentation.
