User Portal
User Portal is a collection of additional pages for private viewers to let them browse the entire list of content available for viewing and look through their personal activity history.
Content List
To open the content list, click the Content tab in the title menu. You will see a list of content items you have the right to view. The list displays only content item names and status. The Status column may display the following:
- Complete – content item has been viewed to the end (for all content types except quizzes).
- Incomplete – content item hasn’t been viewed, or has been viewed only partially (for all content types except quizzes).
- Passed – quiz has been passed (your score is greater than the pass mark).
- Failed – quiz has been failed (your score is less than the pass mark).
Besides, the Status column shows the viewing progress in percents (for all content types except for quizzes) and percentage of correct answers (for quizzes only).
Navigating the Content List
The list of content offers various ways to find your content:
-
Sort by columns
You can sort the list of content by Title or Status (refer to Sorting ).
-
Search by title
To find your content by title, type the first letters of the title and wait until the system automatically updates the list of content (refer to Search and Filter for details).
-
Filter by tags
To filter the content by certain tags, click the Filter by Tags link. You will see a list of all tags used in your account. Click a tag to select it, click it one more time to deselect. You can also use combinations of tags to narrow down the list of content. Just select several tags, and the list will be updated automatically.
You can reset the tag filter by deselecting all tags or by clicking Filter by Tags. A dialog will pop up prompting you to confirm. Click OK, and your content list will get back to its original state.
-
Change the number of elements displayed on a page
You can choose the following values for the number of lines in the list: 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 (refer to Navigation ).
View Content
To view a content item, click its title or the
View link under it. Your content will be shown in a new browser window. If a new browser window hasn’t opened, make sure it’s not blocked by your browser. If it is, allow iSpring Online to open pop-up windows (add iSpring Online web site to the exceptions).
Content History
To view content history, click the
History link under the content item title. It will open “My History” page, which will display your activity with a selected presentation (refer to
My History
for details).
My History
To view your activity history, open the History tab in the title menu. You will see a table listing content items you have the right to view.
Your activity history table can be sorted by Date/Time, Content, Status, Score, Viewed, Duration columns (refer to Sorting ).
When your history grows long, there will appear page navigation controls at the bottom of the table, and you will be able to change the number of lines displayed on a page (refer to Navigation ).
