LMS Support

iSpring Pro, iSpring QuizMaker and iSpring Suite provide extensive support of the Learning Management Systems that are compliant with SCORM (1.2, 2004 2nd, 3rd, 4th editions) and AICC.

We are constantly testing to make sure that everything works perfectly -- it does, except for a few little issues that we have discovered and so far have not been able to resolve. It is unlikely that you will encounter any of them, but just to keep you informed, all known issues are listed below:

Standard Level of Support
SCORM 1.2 Excellent
SCORM 2004 Excellent
AICC Good *

* Regardless of the student's results, all the AICC-compliant courses, including the ones generated with iSpring, get status "complete", even if it is not the case. This is the limitation of the Moodle LMS and is beyond the control of iSpring.

iSpring Online has initially been created to host iSpring-created courses and quizzes. So it provides the most extensive reporting of students' activities and detailed quiz results. No major issues have ever been reported *.

*The two minor problems have been successfully fixed in the iSpring version 5.6 and higher:
  1. The quizzes uploaded with the iSpring product of version 5.5 are displayed slightly inaccurately.
  2. The preloader animated icon added with iSpring is not displayed while a course or quiz is being buffered.

AICC Good *

* Regardless of the eLearning authoring tool used, including iSpring, no AICC-compliant courses results get tracked. So no stats are available on them, unfortunately.
