iSpring Online. On-Demand Learning Management System
iSpring Online is an easy-to-use hosted Learning Management System (LMS) that is tightly integrated with iSpring authoring tools.
What's New in iSpring Online 1.6
iSpring Online 1.6 features several significant functionality updates. With the new version of iSpring Online, you can have much more control over the LMS by giving permissions, setting restrictions and receiving more detailed reports.
Customize Localization
You can use the Localization feature to translate user portal into any language. To change English localization, which is available by default, you can simply choose localization from the list or add a new one. Localizations can be edited, previewed and implemented at the level of organizations, and they are applied to all users of the chosen organization.
Resume Playback
iSpring Online hosted LMS provides an ability to resume playback of audios, video files, and presentations, including presentations with quizzes. With this feature, you can either choose to resume the presentation/audio/video from where you left off or start viewing from the very beginning.
Track Playback Progress
The playback progress statistics is now available in iSpring Online. The LMS provides information about viewers of any certain content item and its status (complete/incomplete). Also, it shows the detailed progress bar for each attempt of each user.
Reset Statistics
This feature allows administrators to reset statistics for certain users, groups, and organizations. Thanks to flexible settings of the function, you can easily and quickly choose users and groups or reset statistics for all of them at once. Within a user portal, the status of a content item changes to “Not started” if statistics were reset.
Define Permissions for Publishers
You can define certain permissions for publishers concerning content items, users, and reports. Depending on given permissions, a publisher can be limited to manage his/her own content items, users and groups, and run certain reports only. By default, a publisher can manage all content items and users, and run all reports.
Set Viewing Restrictions
You can set restriction on number of attempts and playback time for each content item. It’s possible to define the exact date and time during which playback of a content item will be available. As soon as a user exceeds the defined limit, he or she will not be able to access the content item any longer. If you are selling courses through iSpring Online, a user will have to buy the course to access the content again.
