Administrators and teachers in iSpring Learn LMS can manually set course completion status for specific users and content items (iSpring presentations, quizzes, SCORM packages, or any documents). You can also set a completion score based on the number of slides viewed and the quiz passing score. This technique can be useful in the following cases:
The course was completed outside the system (e.g., verbally)
The completion status wasn’t automatically set due to network issues (proxy, firewall, antivirus, interrupted Internet connection)
Removing the completion status in some cases (e.g., if a learner cheated)
To set course completion manually
Select Reports on the top panel of your account.
Select the Performance Summary report type.
Select the course whose completion state you would like to edit. Click Run Report.
Find the row containing the user’s attempt and click the Status cell. It can be Not Started, Not Assigned, Passed, Failed, Completed, etc.
Fill out the Add view form and click Add.
Note: We recommend that you set yesterday or any other day in the past, because it takes 1 day to show it on the report.
After you’ve changed the course status, restart the page by pressing F5 (or cmd + R for Mac).
When your report is generated, you will see the status with the respective icon that represents a changed status. It will show you detailed information if you hover your mouse over it.
Also you can see this status in other report types, e.g. Content Activity.
In addition to an icon, some more limitations will be applied. Question details for quizzes won’t be available. Course duration will be zero. Also, the attempt count will not be changed and the attempt details will not include any information (see the gray bar).
